Xlider – An Alternative To A Skateboard
By Action Isle • Mar 7th, 2008 • Category: Skates
The Xlider is two seperate skates that the rider stands on with one under each foot. By moving as if they are "walking," the rider can propel themselves forward.
Each board has two wheels underneath that can turn side to side freely. This allows the rider to be able to do all sorts of spins. The Xlider shares sort of the same concept as Freeline skates, but the main difference is that the wheels on the Xlider can turn side to side.
The two skates of the Xlider can attach together with a spandex belt that can stay on while riding, and make carrying it easier. For the most part though, it appears most prefer to ride without them hooked together.
