Can’t surf because there’s no ocean nearby? Can’t wakeboard because you don’t have a boat? If you have access to a river, good news for you, now you can enjoy the new water sport called Riverboarding.

How does it work? The Riverboard is connected to a long bungee cord. With the bungee cord hooked up to something stable such as a tree or a rock, you get in the river with the board, and let the the current carry you down stream. The current pulls you back and stretches the bungee cord. When the bungee cord is extended, it slingshots the rider upstream. The bungee cord can shoot a rider upstream at speeds of up to 30 mph. The more you extend the bungee cord (it can extend up to 200 feet), the faster you will shoot upstream.
