So you have now seen two different kinds of snowskates. One that has four rails on the the bottom in place of where the wheels would be, and one that is a board with grooves on the bottom. Both those kinds of boards are called snowskates. The Burton Junkyard is often still called a snowskate, but it is actually a snowdeck.
The Burton Junkyard snowdeck is a traditional skateboard deck with a small ski attached underneath it. Do tricks on it like you would on a skateboard, and use it like you would a skateboard. Snowskates and snowdecks aren't meant to be treated like a snowboard. Hit rails with them, go off ramps, use them at snow parks, and have fun!
