NPD Landboard - Real All-Terrain Boards Have 8 Wheels
By Action Isle • Apr 15th, 2008 • Category: BoardsThe NPD Landboard had a distinguished uniqueness about it. I'm fairly certain it isn't being made anymore and that it has joined the ranks of the many discontinued boards.

The all-terrain NPD Landboard had 4 sets of wheels. Most distinguishable about the Landboard was the suspension system it used, called the "QuadFlex."
"Simply mount the QuadFLEX suspension system to almost any skate truck and you're ready to experience the smoothest, most stable ride ever achieved by any skateboard. Only the best materials were chosen for the construction of the QuadFLEX suspension. The frame is aircraft grade aluminum and the axles are corrosion-proof stainless steel. High grade components are used throughout. QuadFLEX instantly adjusts to the slope of the terrain and flexes independently in four directions utilizing four springs. Deadly high-speed wobbles are virtually eliminated by the QuadFLEX design. Stock springs provide a stiff, aggressive suspension for the average weight rider (100-150lbs.). We realize that not everybody is average, or aggressive, and offer custom springs to suit any style of riding for any size rider! QuadFLEX also offers adjustable compression, adjustable height, comes standard on all Landboards and is sold separately."
