Longboarding is easier than skateboarding because the board is bigger and more stable. Most people do just fine teaching themselves. Also, there are tons of longboarding tutorials on youtube, check em out http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=how+to+longboard&aq=f

I WOULD WATCH OUT FOR THESE BOARDS. I BOUGHT AN M4 AND HAVE HAD TO REPLACE EVERYTHING ON IT. ITS BEEN IN THE SHOP MORE THAN ITS BEEN IN MY HANDS IN THE PAST 2-3 YEARS. I’VE FINALLY DECIDED TO SELL IT AFTER THE 2ND MOTOR REPLACEMENT AND MANY OTHER PARTS REPLACED AS WELL. ALSO BEWARE OF THE BATTERIES BECAUSE SOMEHOW THE CHARGER DIDN’T TURN OFF AND IT MELTED THE BATTERIES SOMEHOW- COST 150$.. POOR DESIGN AND MORE OF A LEMON PRODUCT FOR ME.

Yes Dawn,
The motocross board is a good design of a powered dirt surfer. I really like the suspension travel. The draw back is two wheels need momentum to be stable, whereas the five wheel system is stable in a static position.
