The Rolls Rolls is a longboard that is built to keep on rolling. It's low to the ground, it's lightweight, sturdy, and stylish.
The deck is made of strong but light carbon fiber. The bottom of the deck has kevlar (the same stuff bullet proof vests are made of) to protect it from wear and tear. The Rolls Rolls is only 2 2/3'' above the ground, which saves you energy, and keeps you rolling.
If anyone knows anything about this mystery motorized mountainboard, please feel free to share. It's pretty cool to see a motorized mountainboard that is hands free.
It's called the Electric Scorpion and it is a three wheeled electric skateboard. Why three wheels? This electric skateboard has the one wheel in the front powered by the motor, making it more efficient than 4 wheeled electric skateboards that only have one wheel on one side powered by the motor. The front wheel has less friction, and with only one wheel in the front, the board can be lighter than most 4 wheeled electric skateboards.
Electric longboards have evolved. Many models of electric longboards are heavy and even awkward to carry. For people wanting to go for a quick run to the grocery store, a 50 lb electric longboard can be difficult to carry in with you. Electric longboards often aren't cheap, so most wouldn't feel comfortable leaving it outside.
If you want to buy an electric longboard to use for transportation purposes, the weight of the board would be something worth considering. A bulky 50 lb electric longboard wouldn't be the easiest thing to carry around when you aren't riding it.
Good news for those that are looking for a lighter electric longboard. The Metroboard is a lighter alternative to the other bulky 50 lb electric longboards. The Metroboard varies in price and weight according to the battery type you pick. The lightest electric longboard option weighs in at only 18 lbs.
Instead of having a handheld trigger control the longboard's speed and braking, the Metroboard uses something that is more like a small remote control. The Metroboard electric longboard can go 16 mph, and can go a distance of 4-12 miles, depending on the battery size you choose.
Can't surf because there's no ocean nearby? Can't wakeboard because you don't have a boat? If you have access to a river, good news for you, now you can enjoy the new water sport called Riverboarding.
How does it work? The Riverboard is connected to a long bungee cord. With the bungee cord hooked up to something stable such as a tree or a rock, you get in the river with the board, and let the the current carry you down stream. The current pulls you back and stretches the bungee cord. When the bungee cord is extended, it slingshots the rider upstream. The bungee cord can shoot a rider upstream at speeds of up to 30 mph. The more you extend the bungee cord (it can extend up to 200 feet), the faster you will shoot upstream.
Ripstiks don't have brakes, so always keep that in mind when you are riding. With that in mind, there are, however, ways for you to slow down to a speed where you can hop off of the board.
How to Slow Down on a Ripstik
When you are going fast, start to make wide carves and turns. Making wide carves is a good way of controlling your speed down a hill. When you are going slow enough, make a full circle turn. Turn uphill to get yourself to stop.
Learn how to powerslide. A powerslide is what snowboarders do to stop. To powerslide, kick out your back foot so that the back of the board slides across the ground. This takes some practice.

With skateboarding you are confined to hard surfaces. Sticks, rocks, cracks, and even small holes are mortal enemies to the skateboard. The wheels of a skateboard just can't handle them.
If you want to experience off road skateboarding at it's finest, check out a mountainboard. Also sometimes referred to as an all-terrain board, a dirtboard, grassboard, or a landboard.
To make it simple, a mountainboard is basically a larger version of a skateboard adapted for off road riding. Big off road tires, bigger deck (bigger than a skateboard that is), footstraps, and trucks with shocks are all common on most mountainboards.
Snowboarders often mountainboard in the summer so they can continue to improve their skills. Mountainboarding can be a fun sport to try for anyone who skateboards, longboards, wakeboards, or does any other board sport.
With mountainboarding you can ride on much more than just hard surfaces.
I've seen many electric skateboards before, but not many have off road tires like this electric skateboard made by Exkate.
The Altered M4 800 has the power and durability needed to go on or off road. The pneumatic tires make it able to handle rough terrain. No need to worry about rocks or sticks in the way of your wheels with this board.
With the wireless handheld accelerator and brake the rider can easily control their speed or accelerate up to an impressive 20mph. Not too many electric skateboards with off-road tires can say that.
I couldn't find a video featuring just this board, but I found a video that shows a little bit of this board in action.
