If anyone knows anything about this mystery motorized mountainboard, please feel free to share. It’s pretty cool to see a motorized mountainboard that is hands free.
There’s a new all-terrain skate in town, and it’s called the Skike.
One feature that sets the Skike apart from other all-terrain skates is it’s calf activated brake. To brake, you push your feet forward, which will push your calf backward and activate the brake.
For more about the Skike, check out this article at Inline Planet.
With skateboarding you are confined to hard surfaces. Sticks, rocks, cracks, and even small holes are mortal enemies to the skateboard. The wheels of a skateboard just can’t handle them.

If you want to experience off road skateboarding at it’s finest, check out a mountainboard. Also sometimes referred to as an all-terrain board, a dirtboard, grassboard, or a landboard.
To make it simple, a mountainboard is basically a larger version of a skateboard adapted for off road riding. Big off road tires, bigger deck (bigger than a skateboard that is), footstraps, and trucks with shocks are all common on most mountainboards.
Snowboarders often mountainboard in the summer so they can continue to improve their skills. Mountainboarding can be a fun sport to try for anyone who skateboards, longboards, wakeboards, or does any other board sport.
With mountainboarding you can ride on much more than just hard surfaces.

I’ve seen many electric skateboards before, but not many have off road tires like this electric skateboard made by Exkate.
The Altered M4 800 has the power and durability needed to go on or off road. The pneumatic tires make it able to handle rough terrain. No need to worry about rocks or sticks in the way of your wheels with this board.
With the wireless handheld accelerator and brake the rider can easily control their speed or accelerate up to an impressive 20mph. Not too many electric skateboards with off-road tires can say that.
