This is one bike you wouldn't want to fall off of... not that any sane person would want to fall of any kind of bike, but anyway...
this bike is 10 feet tall.
Monowheel cycles are something different. With your basic bicycle, riders get "on" and ride, but with a monowheel, the rider gets "in," and sits inside of one giant wheel.
While monowheel cycles are definitely something to look at, their is much to be improved in the monowheel world. In the cycle contest, the bicycle still wins over the monowheel.

I've never seen a tandem bicycle that has the riders back to back. Kind of plays a trick on the mind. Are they coming or going?

You could bike around on just an average bike... or you could be different and do something like below. Here are a few bikes that people got creative with. They welded roll bars on so they could do a somersault on their bike, and then keep riding.
Here's a pocketbike that has a roll bar attached to it....
Here's a bike that has two roll bars on it to make rolling easier...
Last, but not least, here's a bike that rolls over... a lot...
Can't surf because there's no ocean nearby? Can't wakeboard because you don't have a boat? If you have access to a river, good news for you, now you can enjoy the new water sport called Riverboarding.

How does it work? The Riverboard is connected to a long bungee cord. With the bungee cord hooked up to something stable such as a tree or a rock, you get in the river with the board, and let the the current carry you down stream. The current pulls you back and stretches the bungee cord. When the bungee cord is extended, it slingshots the rider upstream. The bungee cord can shoot a rider upstream at speeds of up to 30 mph. The more you extend the bungee cord (it can extend up to 200 feet), the faster you will shoot upstream.
For more about Riverboarding check out the Banshee Riverboards web site.
The Manta Ray was available a couple years ago, but after so many people hurt themselves (and even died) using these flying inner tubes, they were pretty much banned from the U.S.
I guess tubing was meant to stay on the water.

Around 2005 Wego released a kite tube that would fly in the air with the rider on it. By 2006 Wego stopped selling it, because too many people hurt themselves, and a couple of people died using it.
On the tube it warned, "don't go higher than you are willing to fly." They even had a giant skull and crossbones on the tube.

I read many comments by many people who had used one of these say that the trick was to have the driver ease up on the throttle when the tube went in the air, otherwise, something like above would happen.

There's a new all-terrain skate in town, and it's called the Skike.
One feature that sets the Skike apart from other all-terrain skates is it's calf activated brake. To brake, you push your feet forward, which will push your calf backward and activate the brake.
For more about the Skike, check out this article at Inline Planet.
Ripstiks don't have brakes, so always keep that in mind when you are riding. With that in mind, there are, however, ways for you to slow down to a speed where you can hop off of the board.
