Don’t stop skating just because Winter comes. With the Snowskate made by Premier, you can keep on skating even when winter is here.
There are two different series of Snowskates along with several pro models. The Premier line has channels on the bottom of the board and a concave deck. The Fortrus line also has channels on the bottom, but has a flat deck. The Fortrus line is made for riders that are new to snowskating.
The cheaper Snowskates are made out of plastic, while the more expensive pro models are made out of wood.
Price ranges from $39.99-$80.00.
Check out the snowskating video below.
Remember the Zorb? That big air cushioned ball that people can get inside and roll down hills in? Here’s a clip of Jackie Chan in a older movie of his, “Operation Condor,” showing how extreme he likes to Zorb.
That kind of Zorbing only exists in movies, thankfully!
TrailSkate
The TrailSkate, made by GateSkate brings inline skating into the all-terrain realm.
TrailSkates are designed to go over any terrain. Take them on dirt trails, paved surfaces, grass, gravel, anywhere. They come with build in hand controlled hydraulic brakes on the rear wheel that will help the rider control their speed and stop when needed. The adjustable bindings allow the rider to adjust the TrailSkate to fit comfortably over their shoes.

Features:
- Precision molded lightweight aluminum wheels.
- 8-inch (200mm) high-pressure pneumatic tires (similar to mountain bike tires) that provide a smooth ride on rough surfaces.
- Clamshell boot-binding system that fits easily over the user’s shoes and is quickly secured with independent ratcheting binding latches and straps for comfort and stability.
- Precision crafted flexible composite chassis provides a lightweight ski-like platform with a low-center of gravity delivering greater stability than traditional in-line skates.
- One-hand stopping power (using a single lever that simultaneously actuates the hydraulic drum brakes located in the rear wheel of each skate) allows users to easily control speed and stop efficiently.
Price: $350
